Meet Karina. She flew in from the Bay Area last weekend to work with us and had a great time. I arrived on Sunday and she was standing in front of the mirror on point (on her toes), practicing her ballet. Now you would think that after seeing that, I would be the one to ask her about ballet boots, but actually, she beat me to the punch. I guess she had seen pictures that I had done earlier and she was determined to wear them. I did a couple scenes and then she looked at me with a puppy dog look and said, "Can I wear the boots now?". Yet again, who am I to turn down such a request? So we went into the back and picked out an outfit. She put it on and walked to the mirror, beaming. It's always so cool when girls really dig what they are wearing...

We walked back to where we were going to shoot and she sat down on the stool and proceeded to put on the boots. Now, I wasn't planning on taking pictures of this, but honestly, the way she was lacing them just required it. Most people would bend over... but no... she extended her leg straight up... way over her head. I just couldn't resist that... LOL I'm glad I did. Wow, what a pair of gams. I guess it is true what they say about dancers: They do indeed have the best legs. Oooofa. Once she was happy with the lacing, she stood and tested them out, smiling... We tested out a few things, as I explained what I wanted to do... she was cool with it all... I smiled thinking... "this should be fun..."

I really wanted to do a puppet bondage ballet of sorts with this one. Karina approved highly of the red rope... but not the harness ballgag. It's attached to the rope from her wrists which meant the more she pulls on her wrists, the more her head is pulled upwards... quite a predicament, I assure you. I started off letting her have use of her feet, but quickly decided that they needed to be tied. Looking back on these pictures, it occurred to me that I took a lot of leg shots...
